Lectures at the Focus Area Contemporary Arts and Cultural Production
Characteristic of the way the focus area Contemporary Arts and Cultural Production works is a strong interweaving of research, outreach and teaching. For example, international symposia and other events organised by us (guest talks, workshops, etc.) are often part of teaching courses. The resulting discussions and results in turn flow into our research and outreach work.
Within the framework of the W&K programme, our focus area offers the supplementary course “Cultural Management and Cultural Production” for students of the Paris Lodron University Salzburg and the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
In addition, together with the other two focus areas Figurations of Transition and (Inter)Mediation, we design the basic module “The Arts: Theories and Discourses” as well as the specialisation “Art, Culture and their Mediation”.
