Dr. phil. Mag. art. Iwan Pasuchin

Iwan Pasuchin, born in 1970, is a composer and a (media)educator. Parallel to his (film-)composition work, he teaches at the Mozarteum University Salzburg at the MediaLab. He leads a research project and an university course in the field of teacher education on the topics of media and creativity. He is a guest lecturer at various universities in Austria and Germany and has written numerous publications. Since 2008 his project “WeTube/Denen zeigen wir’s!” won numerous awards. The project is based around educating children and adolescents at schools all over Austria in the fields of media. As a result of this he has developed the subject “Creative Media Design” in the NMS in Salzburg. He is currently leading the research project “Focus on Art and Culture Education”.
