Collaborative Creativity in African Female Artistry with Catu Diosis and R3ign Drops

Catu Diosis and R3ign Drops take you on a journey through their collaborative creative process and share their experiences in the world of music, DJing, and female empowerment. Together, they have built a platform that champions African female talent, providing opportunities for women to come together, create, and redefine their place in the music and art industries in cities like Kampala and Kigali. Drawing from their careers as DJs and their involvement in the Nyege Nyege Festival, their input aims at a deeper understanding of the power of collaboration and its role in shaping creative projects, and at gaining insight into how to build and nurture creative communities, particularly those that prioritise inclusivity and support for underrepresented voices. This input inspires participants to embrace the collaborative process in their own work, with a focus on collective growth, resilience, and the importance of shared vision.

Whether you’re an artist, a musician, or simply interested in the dynamics of collaborative work, this input will leave you energised and motivated to explore new ways of working together.
