This lecture will center the practice of (un)inviting through the queer figure of the vampire between seduction and fear. It will present a work-in-progress manifesto of queer and trans vampirism and dwell on the power and danger contained in a liminal existence on the threshold.
Luce deLire: Situated Utopias
It seems as if the world was caught in a deathly downward spiral. Yet utopian worlds remain inevitable. In this talk, I will demonstrate that and how contracts govern much of our everyday life, how upcoming techno tyrannies are both reactions to and intensifications of this contractual logics and how this very contractuality keeps generating micro Utopias, hospitable spaces with particular queer and trans potentials.
