The Inter-University Doctoral School “Cultures in Transformation” introduces itself

On October 1, 2024, the doctoral college “Cultures in Transformation” was launched at the Inter-University Organization Arts & Knowledges. It is led by Nicole Haitzinger, Lucia D’Errico and Anita Moser and is jointly funded by the Mozarteum University and the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg as well as the Federal State of Salzburg.
Seven doctoral students – Fernanda Ermelindo Rodrigues, Zuzana Ernst, Julieta Jacobi, Lea Letzel, Ewa Meister, Anna Menslin and Kinga Tóth – are working on projects at the interface of science and art. Over the next four years, the doctoral program will give them the opportunity to discuss the content and methodology of these projects in a transdisciplinary context, write their dissertations and finally complete their doctorates.
In the presence of Rector Elisabeth Gutjahr (Mozarteum University), Rector Bernhard Fügenschuh (Paris Lodron University Salzburg) and Governor Wilfried Haslauer, the event offers the opportunity to get to know the doctoral college and gain an insight into the dissertation projects.
