Against the backdrop of multiple crises, the 7th Salzburg Peace Conference invites participants to work together to find ways out of social exhaustion and design sustainable systems. Organised by the Salzburg Peace Office and St. Virgil Salzburg, it brings together over 20 experts – including Barbara Blaha, Helga Kromp-Kolb, Katharina Mau and Hartmut Rosa. Among other things, the focus is on the question of how the future can be rethought and reshaped without losing courage.
The Co-CreART project is also represented with a contribution and will present the exhibition From trash to treasure. Under the motto ‘Reusing instead of wasting resources’, it is dedicated to the topics of recycling and upcycling, repairing and the circular economy. As part of the exhibition project, students, Lebenshilfe clients, young people and schoolchildren as well as visitors to repair cafés will showcase their creative approaches to recycling.
The exhibition will be opened as part of the Peace Conference on 17 June at 19:30 with the participation of project participants.
