Claiming Space – Gestures of Presence

How do we engage with space – and how does space engage with us? In this 1.5-hour workshop, we explore practical and poetic strategies of spatial appropriation as tools for community outreach. Starting from our own embodied presence, we will investigate how small gestures, materials, and attentiveness to detail can open up new understandings of place.
Working with text, pictures, and performative exercises, we are aiming to engage and reimagine the space around us. How do personal and collective stories shape our experience? How do we irritate, how do we build new connections, and what traces do we leave?

The workshop will be held in English, but German translation is available.
