CALL FOR CONCEPTS | SWEET SPOT – OPEN GARDEN: TIPPING POINTS
Sweet Spot – Open Garden: Tipping Points

In recent years, we have explored changes in acoustic systems by drawing on biological processes. As part of Open Garden 2025, composers and sound artists of all ages are invited to submit concepts for a sound installation that engages with the theme of „acoustic tipping points.“

Selected artists will receive:

• A fee of €500

• Travel and accommodation support of €300

Date: June 18–25, 2025
Location: Mirabell Garden, Salzburg, Austria

Submission Requirements:

• A concept for an electroacoustic piece of at least 10–15 minutes in length, 16 channels, for outdoor presentation (max. 1 A4 page).

• A short CV

• Work samples

Die Reihe SWEET SPOT versteht sich als Forum klassischer und neuer Produktionen Elektroakustischer Musik in Salzburg. In Lounge-Atmosphäre werden neue Stücke des Genres gehört und miteinander diskutiert. Begleitet wird jedes Konzert mit einer kurzen Einführung und der Möglichkeit, sich über das Gehörte auszutauschen.
