CALL FOR CONCEPTS | SWEET SPOT – OPEN GARDEN 2026: TERRITORY
Sweet Spot – Open Garden: Territory

In recent years, we have explored changes in acoustic systems by drawing on biological processes. As part of Open Garden 202, composers and sound artists of all ages are invited to submit concepts for a sound installation that engages with the theme of „Territory“.

The selected composers will receive a fee of €500, as well as travel and accommodation expenses of €250.

Submission:
– A concept for an electroacoustic piece of at least 10–15 minutes in length, 16 channels, for outdoor space (max. 1 DIN A4 page)
– Short CV
– Work samples

The SWEET SPOT series features performances of pieces from this genre, followed by discussions. Each concert is accompanied by a short introduction and an opportunity to discuss what has been heard.
