Werner Michler: Studied German Studies and Philosophy at the University of Vienna, habilitation in 2012, Assistant Professor at the University of Vienna, since 1 March 2013 Professor of Modern German Literature at the University of Salzburg. Teaching and research stays in Vienna, Oxford, Münster, Berlin. 2017-2019 President of the Austrian Society for German Studies (ÖGG). – Academic Director of the Franz Werfel Programme of the ÖAD. Numerous functions in institutions of literary life.
