Complementary Competences
Starting in the 2026/27 winter semester, students at the University of Salzburg will be able to pursue a degree under a Major-Minor model:
Students choose a Major, which allows for in-depth study in their chosen field. They combine this with a Minor, which provides foundational skills in another subject area, or with two Complementary Competences that impart subject-specific or interdisciplinary basic skills in specific subject areas.
